When you get involved with Hospice of Frederick County, you become an important part of something unique and exceptional. Whether your gift to Hospice of Frederick County is time, talent, a financial contribution or an item from our "wish list", you can be assured that it will help people when they need it most--right here in our own community.
Operating as a not-for-profit hospice since it’s founding in 1980, Hospice of Frederick County depends on private philanthropy to fund it’s programs and services, all provided to individuals and families regardless of ability to pay. While some insurance plans, including Medicare, reimburse for medical services provided through Hospice, there is no insurance reimbursement for the residential care provided at the Kline Hospice House or for the extensive bereavement services available to anyone in the community.
